The Modern and Flexible Learning Schools Conference 2021 was a one‑day New Zealand event bringing together educators, school leaders, and ed‑tech specialists to explore how schools were adapting to blended, remote, and flexible learning. Focused on practical case studies and lessons from lockdowns, the conference examined how digital tools and modern pedagogies could better support equity, continuity, and engagement for 21st‑century learners. My colleague Zoe Timbrell, and I, opened the conference with the opening keynote.
