I reflected on shared wins, failures, and learning from across the DEI community, and how facilitation, curiosity, and care can move conversations from good intentions toward meaningful, collective action through thoughtful, inclusive dialogue.

My colleague Zoe and I presented the opening address at the Modern & Flexible Learning Conference in 2021, and explored how pedagogy must adapt to meet the needs of 21st‑century learners. We led with a focus on flexibility, inclusion, and changing learner expectations. We examined how educators can evolve teaching practices to remain relevant, responsive, and future‑focused.
