So this latest more geek-related post started off simply enough. I just installed Office 2013 on an old laptop, signed in with my Microsoft Account and was amused to see all my “recent” documents appear as if I’d been using them on that laptop!
I am a mother, I have a mother as does my husband. Typically, in the midst of the commercialism of living in the Western world, this week (the week before Mother’s Day) our days are filled with the question “What should we do? Should we do it all together? Should we take our mothers our seperately?” etc etc etc
Of course most people would just say, if it’s too much stress just forget it! After all, it is a manufactured holiday created by corporates to sell cards and inane gifts like aromatherapy sticks.
I want to use this occasion to highlight the difference a little thing like geography can make.
This is a shout out post to my mate Nat!! I’ve know her since we were kidlets and she did an awesome awesome thing today, so I had to skite on her behalf! That’s her to the right there!
I guess it’s not often that people admit that they are wrong, but I’ve thought about this, and I have realised that a careless tweet that I made actually went against my own principles and I’d like your thoughts on it!
I had THE MOST AWESOME Saturday night and so did thousands of people! It was the second ever Pride Parade in Auckland! (not including all the Hero parades we have had in the past!) It was the culmination of two weeks of <<insert superlative complimentary adjectives>> Pride celebrations!
